It's mostly the extremely religious people who can't make or have the ABILITY to make valued judgments. (I.E. Westboro) Most religious people don't even consider themselves religious, they just go to church just because they want to be social, we humans are social by nature anyway. If you take out the religious part of the equation can it still work? Yes it can. You mentioned that pagans or in your case neopagans were involved in witch-hunts too. What's the difference? The number?
Which means two things. First, Mike was right on the money about the number burned...No, John, he wasn't exaggerating at all. Second, it was a crime of the century, on par with the WW II holocaust. So the only thing to disagree with Mike about is when he said "...there's apart of me that feels I owe him an apology." No you don't, Mike. You don't owe John from D.C. anything. He owes himself a better education, and he (John) owes those MILLIONS of women burned an apology.

That's it? It wasn't the act itself it was the number?

I felt that the caller and the answer were done fairly...and loved the further expanation....if you have read the history of certain religions they are all brutal to the weakest and sent millions to there death during the Crusades to take back the "Holy Land"...how can it be holy when so many have died so cruely?
Mike Malloy tells it like it is. I love the guy. Keep rocking Mike!

Good man Malloy
As a former roman catholic (raised as) and former born-again christian, I could agree more. Religion is dumb. We don't need religion to be moral and decent people. I now view religion as the most divisive and destructive invention in mankind's history.
hey mike no point in talking to these halfwit religious nuts.they will excuse every abomination in the name of there precious church.Better for them to protect the church than there own children.you cannot talk to these people.THEY ARE BRAIN DEAD.

With the exception of using the fear of damnation, emotional manipulation and flat-out dishonesty to extort money from the ignorant and indoctrinated laity; raping children and concealing their rapists from prosecution is what the clergy does best.

Mike and his listeners would love to see a catholic holocaust
