J.R. Snow Marching Band Director of Harrisonburg High School from Harrisonburg, Virginia talks about his band's experience in The 2011 Band of Pride Tribute in New York City's Times Square held November 10, 2011 sponsored by NYC Group Tours, the official marching band and youth sponsor for the NYC Veterans Day Parade and The Band of Pride Tribute.

Harrisonburg High School joined 14 other high school marching bands participating in this Mass Band event that had over 1500 student musicians performing to honor Veterans from all branches of the military including the US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines and National Guard. Snow talks this once-in-a-lifetime trip for his students and how Band of Pride inspires students to make a difference.
