Sorry, audio's a little out of sync. I'm a developer, not a producer.

Google's developer team is asking for the stories of developers using Google tech: https://developers.google.com/go/stories

This is my story. This is how I went from an English major in Buffalo, NY to a developer trying to get a job in Developer Relations at one of the most exclusive companies in the world.

It all started with a tweet.

[EDIT] Moishe, as awesome as he is, isn't the only one deserving to be named and shamed for their part in my little story. So I thought it appropriate to give a list (in no particular order) or the Googlers and now-Xooglers who have made my story so unbelievable.

- Moishe Lettvin
- Michael Davidson (The engineer who introduced me to Moishe)
- Mike Repass (The product manager who introduced me to Michael)
- Melissa Daniels
- Van Riper
- Stephanie Liu
- Dewitt Clinton
- Natalie Villalobos
- Christian Bogeberg
- Shannon Madison
- Alan Noble
- Ade Oshineye

I think that's everyone. I apologise like you wouldn't' believe if I missed anyone.
