Officers Working to Identify Armed Suspect in Radiant Food Store Robbery

LOCATION: 1930 N. Dale Mabry Highway


Tampa Police officers are asking for the public's help in identifying the armed suspect in a Sunday night robbery at the Radiant Food Store on Dale Mabry Highway. The video shows the suspect approaching the front counter at 11:29 p.m. on October 20.

Anyone with information about this armed robbery is asked to submit an anonymous tip through the Tampa Police Department's new mobile app or through Crime Stoppers.

Location: Radiant Food Store, 1930 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL.

Suspect: Possibly a white male, wearing a red ski mask, red hoodie, tan corduroy jacket, dark jeans and white sneakers. Possibly had dirty blonde hair.

Details: At 11:25 p.m., the unidentified suspect walked into the Radiant Food Store wearing a red ski mask and he approached the clerk at the counter. The suspect demanded money from the cash register. He held his hand inside of his jacket, implying he had a gun. The clerk gave the suspect money from the cash register and the suspect fled out of the store.

Police K-9 tracked the suspect's scent to the area of W. Walnut St & N. Harold Ave where it is believed to be the point that the suspect entered a dark colored, older model pickup truck and fled the area. There are no injuries.
