Oh ok, I guess that isn't too bad. Do you think you will need the band after you hit your goal? Is it meant to enforce discipline and keep you in line with your portions at that point?

Thanks Carla! Don't let your age slow you down. I see ladies in their 60's and 70's that are running. It is the fountain of youth! I wanna be that old lady in her 70's that is passing the younguns on the track. hehe. :)

We better not have rain tomorrow. I didn't do my run this morning so I'm planning on getting it in tomorrow. :-\

Yup, the usual cost for a 5K is about $15-$20. I've gotten some nice t-shirts from them and it's charitable. The lapband is removable if you choose to remove it but it is meant to be there for life! I have no regrets, it was the best decision I've ever made. :)

I didn't realize that you had to pay for the runs! I may do one next year...I hope it isn't expensive. Is the lapband something that will be removed once you hit your goal or is it for life? ~Khaleef
