The course is aimed at people who have an interest in making a difference to the experience of childbearing women and their families. Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting is not a requirement for the programme, but applicants are encouraged to try and arrange work experience when possible.

Clinical placements are offered in a culturally diverse city where the close links between the University and NHS Trusts were commended as' good practice' in a recent programme re-approval. You will mix with other students on the programme who come from diverse backgrounds with a variety of life experiences.
