David lynch talks about Stanley Kubrick in his book Catching the Big Fish.Catching the big fish is available for purchase on Amazon.com & if your a member of Audible.com you can download the audio book there. Im not sure if you can buy it from Davids website right now but I'd look there as well. Catching the Big Fish was inspired by Lynch's experiences with Transcendental Meditation (TM), which he began practicing in 1973. In the book, Lynch writes about his approach to filmmaking and other creative arts. The title refers to Lynch's idea that "ideas are like fish. If you want to catch little fish, you can stay in the shallow water. But if you want to catch the big fish, you've got to go deeper". All proceeds from the book are donated to the David Lynch Foundation For Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace. Catching the Big Fish is also available as an audiobook, with Lynch performing the audio.
