“Ardum” is a reversal of the word “Mudra.” It means the dance of the soul. The dance is an expression of awe to the greatness of the vast and unlimited universe.
The essence of it, is way beyond the segregation of mankind brought by religion and framed by religious dogmas. These dogmas can lead to excessive religious fanatism. And it would certainly trigger conflicts.
In “Ardum,” the dance of the soul will guide us to the understanding of cosmic balance, where four elements of life, which are earth, soil, fire and water, will create synergies and become four poles of power.
It signifies with four cardinal directions. Human as the axis immerses with the four elements. Together they rotate as cosmological configurations, as in Javanese cosmological concept of Cokro Paninggilan. Human is the micro-cosmos.
