Sunday 6th December 2009 and a event that hardly anyone could have foreseen!
A railway signal box flying high about the train tracks!

But its true, the very nearly 100 year old signal box that had been controlling train movements in the Barnham area of West Sussex UK was lifted from its position by a giant crane and taken by road to a new site nearby where it will be refurbished and live on in preservation.
Probably the biggest signal box to be moved whole in the UK!

This video condenses the many hours of work into 10mins.

(The annoying double takes and skip backs in the video are the result of the video software I have been using being really crap!)
