World Hepatitis Day is an event recognized by the World Health Organization that aims to raise global awareness of hepatitis B and C. On July 28th, the second annual NYC World Hepatitis Day event went off without a hitch! It definitely could not have happened without all of you and our many, many volunteers, partner organizations and sponsors.
We also want to thank all our sponsors for helping us tremendously with our event: World Hepatitis Alliance, NYC Hepatitis B Coalition, NYC Hepatitis C Taskforce, NYC Department of Health, Charles B. Wang Community Health Center, CVS Caremark, Al D. Rodriguez Foundation, American Liver Foundation, Gilead Sciences, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, NYU Center for the Study of Asian American Health, B Free CEED, Korean Community Services, Latino Commission on Aids, Vocal NY, Hepatitis C Mentor & Support Group, Brooklyn Movement Center, and CAMBA.
