Randolph-Macon Academy Middle Schoolers have fun in the tie-breaker events at the end of Field-lympics. Eight teams competed in elimination rounds of kickball, dodge ball, logic games, and an obstacle course over a two-week period. In the finals, two teams tied for first place, so a tie-breaker was held on June 1, 2009. The teams competed in three events. First they had to get a hoop around the circle of people two times. For the next event, they were blindfolded and were assigned numbers that only each individual knew. The team leader had to put them in order—without speaking. For the final event, a blindfolded student had to traverse a marked path guided only by his or her teammates directions. At the end, a whip cream pie awaited him or her. Let the fun begin...
