The Center for Communication Research's continuous response measurement lab can track second-by-second responses to television or audio content. Small groups of viewers use hand-held dials to indicate how they feel about a given message. Results are displayed in real time by a video overlay, and these responses can be broken down by customizable groups such as gender, age, or political affiliation.
