Congress hosted their Biennial Women's Conference on the 3rd and 4th March in Mullingar's Bloomfield House Hotel, a Fair Hotel.

The broad theme was‘1916 – 2016, celebrating a Century of Women’s Struggle and History” and about 200 delegates heard from guest speakers and debated an agenda of motions proposed by affiliate trade unions.
