How to Install the Toughstake™ 9 " Sand and Snow Stake If you have ever tried to setup a tent, awning, or something similar in the sand or snow, you quickly realize that anchoring a stake in the sand or snow is difficult. Toughstake™ Sand and Snow Stakes have solved this problem once and for all. They are light, easy to store, and more importantly hold incredibly well in the sand and snow. Unlike traditional means of anchoring in the sand or snow, which usually entail digging holes and filling bags with sand or snow, the Toughstake™ Sand and Snow Stakes are easy to use and deploy. The installation of all stakes are identical. We recommend either using your hand and slowly working the stake into the ground, or find something around which you can tap the stake into the sand or snow. We like stones, sticks, hammers, etc. Just remember, these are for sand and snow only. If you hit a object which the stake cannot penetrate, simply move your stake to a new location.
The small 9" Sand Stakes are ideal for small tents, beach cabanas, small awnings, pop up tents, and other similar items.
