In this first video I show you how to remove a brake caliper on a 2000 Chevy Blazer. These instructions are basically the same for most vehicles. This video is intended to help back yard mechanics and do it your selfers. In the second part of the video I'll show you how to install the caliper, brake hardware and brake pads on a disk brake system. This video should help anyone who is trying to repair their brakes. This vehicle was a 2000 Chevy Blazer (GMC Jimmy, S10). If you smell your brakes after driving for a while, feel each wheel to see if one is hotter than the others. This could be an indication that you've got a stuck brake caliper. I could be either the slave cylinder or the caliper pins.
