Ryan Bailey looks back at day 12 of Euro 2012, explaining 6 things he learned from the final matches of Group D.

Wayne Rooney found himself back on the pitch after serving a two-match suspension. He returned with immediate impact, scoring England's only goal as they beat Ukraine 1-0.

France were able to squeak into the quarter-finals, but not before being smacked by the Swedish 2-0. Zlatan Ibrahimovic had one of the most impressive goals we've seen in the tournament. Sebastian Larsson also scored for the Swedish to ensure that the team went home with their heads high after a 2-0 win.

France will now face Spain and England will face Italy in the next round of games.
