This song is a tribute to Lloyd and Colette of Tales of Symphonia, our favorite game on the Game Cube. This project's been sitting in our hard drives for a while (among others -_-;). Now that we have more free time and, moreover, that we've invested in some decent equipment, we'll be able to put out some more songs in the near future as opposed to the far future. We're also in the market for a good vocalist or two; Bryce and I just suck at singing. ~Justin

Thanks to: Sarah for her awesome vocals in this song.

Verse 1
The girl next door
Becomes an unlikely heroine.
Everyone sees you in a whole new light.
I'm so glad you're in the spot you're in.

I always knew
You were an angel in disguise.
Even though you trip and you fall,
Your heart is pure in my eyes.

Happy birthday, Colette,
I wish your pain was something I could share.
The blessing of Martel is a gift
To which no necklace can compare.

Happy birthday, Colette,
Your life has begun anew.
In order to save the world,
I may have to save yourself from you.

Verse 2
You sprout wings
And sing your holy song.
You bring Judgment to our enemies,
But, something's gone terribly wrong.

Something about you's changed:
You don't sleep, you don't eat.
You've lost your ability to feel;
You've lost your humanity.

My world's falling apart,
As I'm trying to put it back together.
I want to stay with you forever,
But, I can't find a way to keep both.

There has to be another way.
The story's supposed to go like this,
But let's write a special twist
I don't want you to go alone.

Thanks for listening!
