We are proud to introduce our fine collection of David Yale Violins from the exclusive American Luthier Series. These one-of-a-kind violins represent the finest hand-craftsmanship we offer by nationally renowned American luthiers. These exceptional instruments range in tone, look, and character as each are individual masterpieces in their own right.

The main value of American Luthier Series violins comes from special attention paid to the interior of the violin. Before final assembly of the instrument, the top and back plates are carved with precision to a thickness that complements the density and grain pattern of the wood. The violin’s corner blocks, soundpost, bass bar, lining strips, and top and bottom blocks are precisely placed and adjusted to bring out the best characteristics of sound for each instrument. Once the interior graduations are complete and the violin is assembled, the luthier focuses on outward specifications including precise setup of the pegs, bridge, and fingerboard. Because every micromillimeter makes a difference in string instrument setup, this attention to detail guarantees an extremely comfortable instrument to play.

It’s easy to sound your best on a David Yale!
