June is peach season in Arkansas! Garden and lifestyle expert P. Allen Smith shares with us one of his favorite seasonal treats -- a homemade peach wine cooler.
Ingredients 1/2 cup sugar splash sparkling water 2 tbsp. mint, chopped 4 peaches, peeled, pitted 1/4 cup peach brandy 2 bottles riesling, or other sweet wine
Instructions
Put the prepared peaches, mint, ½ cup sugar and brandy in a food processor. Blend for about two minutes.
Place in the refrigerator to chill.
Just before serving add two chilled bottles of a sweet German wine like Riesling and sparkling water to taste.
Serve over ice with a sprig of mint.
