The Brassie is a simple, and simply deadly, fly. Traditionally thought of as a midge pupa or caddis larva imitation and tied for trout, this fly's most important attribute is its ability to reach the strike zone at the bottom of the flow. An extremely productive pattern that should be given serious consideration for everything from steelhead to bluegill - it will hook them all!
