This is an educational action taken by the Mid Island Chapter of the Council of Canadians at the Nanaimo Silly Boat Regatta this past summer to help raise awareness about the threats posed by crude oil tanker shipments through British Columbia's coastal waters and the proposal by some corporate bought politicians that the off-shore drilling moratorium should be lifted.
