This is a video that goes along with the Siggraph presentation given a few years back on the wave system we built for Surf's Up. It was a pretty cool system because it was designed to function as an parametrically controllable fluid system, so that the wave could be modeled and the timing of the wave crash could be controlled from a creative and animation stand point, mean while, the parametric surface that the program generated output surface interpolated data that represented much more complex data for rendering such as per-vertex or per-cv "crash" values, velocity data, and other such useful information that was more appropriately needed for rendering or simulation purposes on top of the animation controlled parametric surface. Fun stuff. Really great team.
