420 people took part in the African Conservation Trust's 2012 Skydive for Rhinos campaign. The year-long campaign culminated in 5 weekend events around South Africa and raised R3,6mill (US$450,000) by year end for SA's beleaguered rhino populations, which are being increasingly targeted by poaching syndicates for consumers in the far East who mistakenly believe that rhino horn contains magical medicinal properties. All funds raised have been put to good use in 4 ways: aerial surveillance, equipment & resources for anti-poaching teams, advanced training and community awareness and education. A huge thank you to everyone who took part. PLEASE SHARE! A huge thank you to Meyer Productions for producing this video at absolutely no cost.
