Eugene Onegin is at the Northern Alberta Jubilee April 19, 21, 23 25, 2013.
Before each opera, a panel discussion is held, with professors from local post-secondary institutions and members of the Edmonton Opera's creative team involved with the production. Together, the panelists provide a well-rounded look at the context the opera was created in (sociological, political, historical) as well as the musical and theatrical aspects.
