The French Development Agency (AFD), World Bank, Center for Global Development (CGD) and International Migration Institute are jointly hosted the Seventh International Conference on 'Migration and Development' on 30 June - 1 July 2014.
The conference was devoted to investigating ways in which international migration affects economic and social changes in developing countries. Topics included the effects of migration on poverty, inequality, and human capital formation in developing countries, diaspora externalities, remittances, brain drain, migration and institutional/technological change.
