Dr. Charles S. Greene, a clinical professor in the Department of Orthodontics in the College of Dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago has published the same letter (with minor changes) in multiple dental journals which is an ethical violation. In his letter(s) to the editor(s) he has stated that TMJ disorders are psychological in nature and if they are left alone, they will go away by themselves. Dr. Scott Tamura, a Neuromuscular dentist in Marina Del Rey California, interviews a patient who he has successfully treated for TMJ about Dr. Greenes outlandish and outdated statements.
