This is ENB's analysis and review of Tokyo Game Show 2012. I'm covering a lot of games with not a lot of time... that lends to shallower analysis, but at least I'm not harping about the OMG NEW VITA COLORS and how Japan is doomed because Microsoft didn't have a booth.

223,753. Record number of attendees. Seriously... if you are a member of the media who thought that the important news from the show was "woot VITA colors" or "Tokyo Game Show is dying11!," turn in your press badge. Sorry... I'm just annoyed by the state of gaming journalism as always. Can we at least get an Erik Kain out here?

There were several major booths and games that I made the executive decision to skip- like Square Enix and Capcom (Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter 4 being the titles I ignored). The reason why is that I couldn't actually visit every booth in the amount of time that I had, and there were other games that I was a LOT more interested in- like Phantasy Star Online 2 and Soul Sacrifice. Apologies to FF and MH fans! It just wasn't in the cards... partly BECAUSE those titles were so popular. Hell, there was over an hour wait for the chance to just buy some goods! I hope you guys can settle for someone else's analysis on those titles... and once again, I would gladly have covered them if I had only the TIME!
