The JETBeam RRT-3 has been one of our most powerful lights since it was released and it has just received an upgrade that takes it from powerful to insane. The light now has three CREE XM-L LEDs for a max output of 1950 lumens. The beam is not a traditional beam with a well defined hotspot that quickly transitions to a spill, but is instead more of a gradual change that creates a huge wall of light.

Your kind of a nerd aren't ya lol. But you're videos are informing. Will be buying a light soon. Maybe you should make a comparison video by price point $1-50, 50-100,100-150, etc. Since you guys have so many light,s it gets confusing.

the 3x xm-l, rrt-3 puts out a broad wall of light, but it doesn't look as smooth as others. are there light artifacts coming off the reflector? i see varying intensities of light in a radial pattern as you go from center to periphery. some light further toward the outer light boundary is a little brighter than light closer to the center--the opposite of what should be true. they are slight variations, but evident, nonetheless. do you see what i'm talking about?

how far will the triple xml go in yards with still producing a good beam ? Im a hunter and i am looking for a light that will reach out to around 250-300 yards but will let me see the whole target area and not just have enough to show eye shine. I chose this one as its semi compact and comes with a weapon mount. thanks
