It's like the bad version of Matthew Cammelle and Michael Crawford combined. He's cutting breath in the middle of lines.

I prefer a bari - tenor, like Mark Mckerracher to sing his beautiful piece of music. Joback's voice, no offense, ruins it for me, and he can barely hit the low notes.

Well, we shouldn't have an prerequisites when we think of the Phantom's character. We need to remain open-minded. Are you guys seriously picking on him cuz his voice is higher? Chill. BTW yes, I do love Warlow and Ramin
I saw him live last week and that part gave me such chills! My jaw actually dropped. I thought he did an absolutely incredible job as the Phantom.
To be blunt, all these recordings of him do sound terrible. But last August I went to see him when he was the Phantom and he was magical. His voice sounded so haunting and at first my dad thought that Michael Crawford had come back! The way he moved and acted was amazing. When he sang "You alone can make my song take flight, it's over now, the music of the night!" he gave me goosebumps. If you don't like his voice then fair enough but these recordings don't give him justice at all.

I'm sorry to say Peter is just not right for the Phantom. The Phantom's voice is supposed to be strong and powerful, while Peter's voice is a little on the weaker and slightly higher side. Put Peter next to the 4 other Phantoms in the 25th anniversary, he is clearly outshone by them all
