"Journaling is like a little door into the madness of my mind." Journaling can be a hard habit to keep up with! Maybe you're like me, and always kept a journal when you were younger. But once I left school, keeping up with my journaling become much more difficult. So, here is my challenge to you... pick up that pen and paper! Any time you're tempted to procrastinate on your phone or laptop, try journaling instead. If you're not quite sure what to write about, here are some prompts to get you started!
A letter to: - myself when I need a friend - my pen - my mom when she misses me - who ever I might be in a year (a lot can change) - my best friend in preschool - the attractive barista - a soul mate I might never meet - a version of myself I thought I was going to become - to the me I see in the mirror - to the world during an earthquake - to my mom when I was still in her tummy - to my journal
Write one of these out!...
A list of... 1. My own set of swear words 2. The people I should have said thank you to 3. The best thing I notice around me on a good day. 4. The only places I have really felt alone with you 5. The best compliments I have received 6. The people whose hand book on life I'd like to see 7. The things I'll never tell you! 8. Advice that I have gotten that I haven't yet used (that I probably should / that I probably should never use) 9. Why I shouldn't doubt myself 10. Little ways I could be a better human 11. Emotions
