One of the most environmental concerns is global warming and the related future climate change. To understand the source and sink scientists look into emissions of greenhouse gases globally as well as on local scales. Passive Remote Sensing is one of the preferred techniques and especially the EM27/SUN spectrometer as a dedicated solution for this application. The following video recorded during a measurement campaign in Tokyo, Japan provides insight into this highly interesting field of research.
