Kathy Carroll, whistleblower lawyer from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing CTC and public education advocate Kathy Carroll talks about the attack on teachers and public education and the relationship of the AFT & NEA to privately funded non-profits
whose agenda is to push privatization of education. She reports
that the leadership of both the AFT and NEA as well as education
union officials throughout the country are taking millions of dollars
from "non-profits" funded through the Gates Foundation, Broad
Foundation, Walton Foundation and other foundations. Carroll also reports on a reign of terror and workplace bullying against public school teachers leading to suicides and forced terminations and poverty by an increasing number of teachers under the corporatization of public education.
She spoke at a forum on privatization and education in San
Francisco on July 6, 2014 which was sponsored by the United Public
Workers For Action www.upwa.info
