Dan Hardy has taken the news of getting pulled off the UFC on FOX 7 card against Matt Brown with great zen. In fact, since taking his Ayahuasca retreat in South America last year, Hardy has been treating most things in his life like a punk rock Buddha. We aren't here to interpret Hardy's trip, and as much as we want to be bummed about not watching him fight, we can't help but be happy for him as long as he's happy. And to be honest, he seems downright giddy to be living life and sharing his experiences regardless of where this Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome brings him.
So what do you do when you have a 'wolf heart' and your fighting career is put into possible jeopardy? When you're Dan Hardy, you give it a wink and a philosophical smile. It's just the next step.
We spoke with Dan about his post-Ayahuasca life, his changing outlook on the world, the downfall of culture and what Dan Hardy and his wolf heart have in store for the universe.
