Due to this comment, I am locking comments on this video. I appreciate your feedback and the team is listening. But I find it completely inappropriate to wish a horrid, painful death on someone over a website's change in appearance, as much as you disagree with it.

Don't treat us as stupid. We have as much - if not more - experience as you, so do not treat us as children. Your product changes will not help sell google but will force many of us to rethink our commitment to google. We do not need something completely different. Give us the old version which is much more effective than this tinkering by you. Get out of your baby carriage and rethink where you are coming from. Otherwise there will be an extreme negative reaction to this silliness of "product

This look sucks and like so many other companies they dont care what we think and give us no choice. To me it is worth changing mail providers.

The new look makes me strain my eyes to read it, it is too spaced out, the colors are terrible, & it takes longer to find everything I have marked. If it was so much work to downgrade the previous version, why did you guys do it? It makes no sense.

I'm with you!

Actually, I think they are listening because the ORCA THEME looks like an attempt to somewhat duplicate the old look. I noticed it working a bit better yesterday late as it mimicked some of the colors of my old "Pebbles" look. But in an irony of ironies, they changed Orcas yet again, bringing the gray blue all the way to top header on left. It was actually better BEFORE they messed with it again. So guys, if you're reading this, how about putting the LAST version of ORCAS ISLAND back.

Hey google.. your 'common look' sucked in google plus, which is one reason why it was not successful. Copying that awful look into gmail is a MAJOR mistake. You are becoming like Microsoft, where you live in your own world and look crazy to outsiders. I'm using gmail as an IMAP through thunderbird now and will switch email providers soon. This is not acceptable.

I despise this new look, and not being able to retain the old look is going to make me abandon google completely. Probably just use Bing, microsoft Outlook; any time I can use something that isn't Google I'll do it. i'm going to stop going to Youtube because Google owns it. Every time I inadvertently use google, I will curse google and myself.

I hate the new look. this may be the kick in the pants I needed to try out some other webmail providers.
