Great "Piano Blues" from the man who hired a young Chuck Berry to play in his trio. Johnnie Johnson is an under appreciated musician who was re-discovered by Keith Richards. I'm so glad! This is "Johnnie's Boogie" from the cd, "Blue Hand Johnnie" which was released in 1993. Over the years Mr. Johnson played with Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Albert King, John Lee Hooker, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Weir and Ratdog, and the Kentucky Head Hunters. He has been grammy nonimated and has numerous citations and awards. He is an 'unsung blues hero'. Enjoy!

Check out this site to keep his memory and music alive. It's well worth your time!
