Robert Pattinson spoke out for the first official time since all of the Robsten drama went down. The Twilight star broke his unwavering silence to the media when he paid a visit to Jon Stewart's The Daily Show to promote his upcoming thriller, Cosmopolis. While fans have been eager to hear Robert's thoughts in wake of the highly publicized cheating scandal involving his Twilight co-star and longtime girlfriend Kristen Stewart, many may have been very disappointed by the lack of serious discussion that took place about the breakup. Instead, Jon began the interview by jokingly offering Rob a pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream as a means to console him and only touched lightly on the break-up, exaggerating his concern while offering advice such as quote --- "Boy, you are better off. Kick her to the curb! Whatever." Robert didn't have much to offer in terms of a response to the scandal, aside from joking about his dilemma of being cheap and not hiring a publicist. So while this appearance may not have given much insight into the status of his relationshipo, we will be looking forward to hearing more as the star continues to keep up public appearances while promoting Cosmopolis --- In fact, just today he rang the bell at the New York Stock Exchange, he will be appearing on Good Morning America tomorrow morning, AND has an interview with MTV set for Thursday. So what do you guys think of Rob's first interview since the scandal? Let us know by posting a comment below and don't forget to subscribe to ClevverTV!
