I play here with a softer registration with Oboe in cantus firmus, Principal in alto and tenor, and softer pedal.

This is a transcendental piece, Bach's last work that he dictated from his deathbed. In only 5 minutes of music he condensed the highest art and science that music is. It is his last testament and his work that he brings before God's throne.

Ana Magdalena Bach in her chronicles says that Bach's last words were "Please God turn away from my sins and look at my achievements in your glory".

Every time you listen to this piece, you will discover and hear new things. It has been a tremendous challenge to learn this piece as it seems deceptively simple, yet it is so rich musically and technically it required from me everything I have got.

I started learning and playing the pipe organ in 1982 at the age of 22 without any prior keyboard experience or training. I thank Prof. Lidia Sumnevici and Ilse Maria Reich for teaching me how to play and for allowing me to practice on the organ at th Lutheran Church in Bucharest. I started playing again in 2010, after a 24 year break, so be kind :)

Music is one of my passions the other is being an executive coach.
