In this tutorial I show a brief introduction into the usage and production of a transparent video aka. Video with alpha-chanel.
As a moving avatar on a website we need a video of an actor on a transparent background. This video will be inserted in our website with Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5, setting the Flash Video player to transparent. Animated in Adobe Edge Preview the avatar comes to life and moves around the web page.
In preparation we need to shoot a green screen video cut with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 and keyed with After Effects CS5.5
The most important step will be the right encoding within Adobe Media Encoder CS5.5

All necessary steps explained here. Detalled information in my German Tutorials including a running demo of the produced Avatar on my website:

Note:
These free and short support-training-videos are produced „low level" within my spare time. So sorry for my bad English -- after a long day speaking to people just in German, it is a hard try :-)
