Daniel Benjamin, author of "The Age of Sacred Terror" and former Director of the National Security Council, tell James Goodale, former Vice Chairman of The New York Times, that al Qaeda is on its way to becomming a Virtual State. As a Virtual State all it would need would be computer connections worldwide. It would not need to control land. Benjamin also gives his views on the relevance of an attack on Iraq to such a Virtual State.
