This movie certainly had some good laughs, but you've got to be in the mood for it. I never thought I'd laugh so hard seeing a nun get ht in the face with a sledgehammer.

I think the film is possibly a come down for Sean Hayes after his role as Jack in 'Will & Grace' (repeated on weekdays on Channel 4, though this will end with them screening the Paralympics coverage)!

The generally favourable reviews of this film are either a sign to be cautiously optimistic or an indictment of critical thought at the present time. I know that August is the graveyard for movies that no-one has particularly high regard for or expectations of, but we can at least try and hold things to a higher standard. Whatever happened to the summers of Hellboy and Scott Pilgrim and Predators?
