This video is really about the sound of the floating river ferry stations in Bangkok/Thailand. A video to go with one of the many sound recordings I have made over the past few years of these floating platforms. To me the Chao Phraya river is the soul of Bangkok and the sound of the numerous and varied types of ferries and other boats and the floating stations is the voice of the river singing its way to the sea. The video was shot on a micro digital memory card camera the sound recorded on mini disc - my prefered means of recording and editing sound.
