The Activboard interactive whiteboard from Promethean has a resolution of 200 Points Per Inch (PPI), making it one of the most accurate boards on the market.
This video shows a simple experiment you can perform on your whiteboard in order to demonstrate its accuracy.
Simply place your computer projector very close to the board.
In this example I'm projecting a 1024 x 768 pixel display onto a 10" x 8" area of the board. This simulates a board resolution of around 100 PPI.
You will see that after calibrating the display it's still possible to control the computer perfectly with the Activpen at this very small display size.
Actually on the Activboard you will find that you can reduce this projected display down even further, to slightly over 5" x 4" and it will still work perfectly. It just doesn't make for a very clear video!
