Above University of Hawaii in Hilo is a little known street called A'ohoku Place. Along that street is a row of the world's top observatory complexes managing the world class telescopes on Mauna Kea. The Observatory headquarters include Gemini Observatory, Joint Astronomy Center, Japan's Subaru Observatory, UH Mauna Kea Observatory, CalTech Submillimeter Array, and the Smithsonian Observatory. This is a driving tour starting at 'Imiloa Astronomy Center on Nowela street and driving down and back on A'ohoku Place and then up to Komohana street.
