'Color splashing' (also known as Selective coloring) is a simple digital photo re-touching/manipulation effect used by many pro-photographers/designers to beautify otherwise normal photos. This method entails emphasizing certain part in a color photograph while leaving everything else in gray-scale (Black & White).
