Watch the late legendary womenswear designer, Oscar de la Renta as he tells us about how, as a young boy from the Dominican Republic, he was introduced to the fashion world on a visit to Spain aged 18. Having worked for world famous fashion houses including Balenciaga and Lanvin, he eventually moved to New York where he set up his own Haute Couture label. At the centre of his designs is the understanding of women's aspiration and dreams, most importantly, wanting make them feel their very best.
