Welcome to Science Choreography! We invite you to explore the intersection of art, science, and kinesthetic learning. Whether you are a teacher, a student, an artist, a scientist or some combination (which most of us are) there is much to find here.

Our website at http://sciencechoreography.wesleyan.edu/, designed by a team of scientists from Wesleyan University (including Michael Weir, Laurel Appel, and Laura Grabel) and artists from the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange (including Liz Lerman and Elizabeth Johnson), is a product of a multi year collaboration, catalyzed by the Center for the Arts at Wesleyan, that brought us onto stages across the country and into classrooms at various levels, ranging from 7th grade through university

In our multi-media website, you will find dances about science, tools for embodied learning, and modules that include lessons and supplemental materials so you can bring science choreography to your classroom. You can also hear reflections from teachers and students about the effectiveness of these techniques for active engagement with science.
