Tracy’s Theme (Ascher) by Spencer Ross (stereo mix)

“Spencer Ross” was a pseudonym for Robert Mersey, and Vincent “Jimmy” Abato is featured on alto sax for this instrumental theme, written for the December 7, 1959, NBC-TV dramatic production of the romantic comedy “The Philadelphia Story.” Diana Lynn played the role of Tracy Lord, previously portrayed on the big screen by Katharine Hepburn (1940) and Grace Kelly (1956 “High Society”).
