'Stargazer Shoes' (words+music © Gibbens/Weston) from the album PLAY (1999). The Children who play on this one are Julia Doyle & Frank Hall, double bass & drums, Alfredo Genovesi, guitar/FX, and Anne Wood, violin, with Armorel Weston, vocals, and John Gibbens, guitar and vocals.
Our movie sources are 'Project Moonbase' (USA, 1953) and 'Begegnung im All' (Encounter in Space), which is the East German version of 'Mechte Navstrechu' (USSR, 1963). The Russian title (transliterated here) means something like 'To Meet a Dream'.
Our leading lady, the space-babe and heroine of our epic adventure is Donna Martell.
