DAYTON -- The Safe Streets task force has announced the arrest of 12 people authorities are saying was involved in a gang.We had a crew at this afternoon's press conference.The gang members, called BPN, are facing multiple counts of heroin trafficking, robbery and gun crimes. Police said some of the suspects are also being investigated for homicides, although details were not provided at the Wednesday afternoon press conference.The task force, consisting of Dayton Police and Montgomery Sheriff's deputies, had been investigating the gang since 2011.Authorities said one suspect, Charles Moore, was killed in a crash about three weeks ago as he fled from an officer who was following him as part of this investigation.Police also said another suspect was involved in the Leo's II shooting in April.All the suspects have been arrested in the last couple of weeks and indicted by a grand jury.Check back for updates on this developing story, and watch tonight on ABC 22 at 6 and Fox 45 at 6:30 for video from the task force's press conference.Related story: Man Shot Along with Undercover Cop is Sentenced
