According a recent study conducted by the Pew Research Center, Americans are more divided by politics than they are by race, gender, age and income. Explained more precisely, this suggests that what truly splits society isn't how we look on the outside, but rather how we lookout from the inside. In other words, our internal conscience determines our viewpoint on the role of government -- which in turn, generates our external political differences. Those differences being: if you believe government's job is to produce equal outcomes, you're probably a Democrat. And if you believe government's job is to promote equal opportunity, you're probably a Republican.
